As of January 20, 2021, the piloting within the training programme „Leadership and Management” started. The purpose of the piloting is to test the contents, adjust them and develop the final contents that will be delivered later in the training programme „Leadership and Management” for leaders and managers of Higher Education Institutions in the Republic of Moldova.

During January-February 2021, the piloting of the first module took place, provided by the team formed by Ph.D. Angela NICULIȚĂ, associate professor, SUM (Module leader), Dr. hab. Otilia DANDARA, professor, SUM, Ph.D. Dionisie BOAGHIE, associate professor, SUM, Tatiana GAUGAȘ, lecturer, AESM and Ph.D. Tatiana ŞOVA, associate professor, SUARB, who elaborated the contents for the module „Leadership and Management in higher education institutions”. At the end of the module, on February 25-26, the defense of the individual projects took place, their themes being proposed for choice at the launch of the module. The purpose of the program piloting is to assure that project members will follow the training program, as trainees. At the end of the piloting session, the program will be evaluated by all project members, in order to improve it for future trainees. During January -February, 2021, the first module of the program – Leadership and Management in Higher Education Institutions  will be piloted. The module is provided by the team formed by Dr. Angela NICULIȚĂ, associate professor, USM (Module leader), dr. Otilia DANDARA, professor, USM, dr. Dionisie BOAGHIE, associate professor, USM, Tatiana GAUGAS, lecturer, ASEM and dr. Tatiana SOVA, associate professor, USARB.

During the opening of the piloting session, on January, 20, dr. Larisa BUGAIAN, institutional coordinator of the project, mentioned that the training program is worth 40 ECTS, or 1200 hours, of which 298 hours are reserved for direct interaction with the instructor, and 902 hours for individual work. Each module will end with the evaluation of the individual work, consisting of the presentation of the work done in teams by the project members, and, at the end of the program, the skills obtained during the course will be evaluated. Ms. BUGAIAN pointed out that the piloting will take 4-5 months of intensive activity, and at the end of each module there will be a period of time for individual teamwork. More…

 

On 11 December 2020, Liliana ROGOZEA and Daniela POPA, teaching staff from Transylvania University in Brasov, Romania, offered a training session in digital instruments, which support the implementation of the training activities of the study programme „Leadership Development and Management”.

On May 18-22, 2020, within the Erasmus+ project Moldova Higher Education Leadership and Management (MHELM) a virtual visit in the form of an online seminar was conducted on „University Strategy Building in a Regional Perspectives: Action Learning in University-Business-Society Cooperation”. This virtual training replaced the study visit to the Institute of Social Studies (ISOB) in Regensburg, Germany. But the pandemic forced a change in the format of the visit, which took place online.
