On December 19, 2023, the certificate presentation ceremony was held, confirming the continuous professional training of USARB managers, beneficiaries of the “Leadership and Management” training programme, developed within MHELM project.

The management of the partner universities in the MHELM project have permanently supported the development of a course for the heads of different university levels in the field of university management.  The Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova, being a full partner in the MHELM project, fully accepted the development and implementation of the training programme for managers in the university education system. This is reflected in several legislative acts of the Republic of Moldova such as: GD no. 636 of 11 December 2019 “On the approval of the Government Action Plan for 2020-2023” , Chapter VII. EDUCATION, RESEARCH, CULTURE, YOUTH AND SPORT of the Action Plan, GD no. 114 of 7 July 2023 on the approval of the Development Strategy “Education 2030” and its Implementation Programme for the years 2023-2025, Annex 1, DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY “EDUCATION 2030” in IV. The event celebrating the completion of the MHELM project was an excellent opportunity to reflect on the achievements and to mark the valuable contributions of all those involved, who, through effective and efficient collaboration, managed to successfully implement all the activities foreseen under the project.

The meeting was opened and moderated by Ms Larisa BUGAIAN, the project coordinator, expressing her gratitude for the presence in such a large number, for active involvement and valuable contribution of each one to the successful achievement of the project objectives.

On February 14, 2023, were presented the final work of the trainees from UTM and ULIM, third group , trained in the continuous training program “Leadership and Management Program”, carried out through the Erasmus+ Program “Leadership and Management in Higher Education in the Republic of Moldova/MHELM”, reference number: 609656-EPP-1-2019-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP, funded by the European Union.

On February 6, 2023,  was launched the 4th edition of the Management and Leadership Training Programme for university managers, developed within the MHELM project – “Leadership and Management in Higher Education in the Republic of Moldova/Moldova Higher Education Leadership and Management”, reference number: 609656-EPP-1-2019-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP, funded by the European Union. On February, 15, 2023 was held  a virtual round table on „University Management”, as a part of Module I of the Management and Leadership in Higher Education (MHELM) continuous training programme.

The event was organized in the context of the study theme “University Management”, which aims to train professional competences with reference to:

  • duties, competences, skills, responsibilities, rights and obligations of the manager, stages of the managerial process, university governance/autonomy, management strategies;
  • identification of principles and mechanisms of managerial performance, managerial styles, different categories of beneficiaries/target groups.

The round table was moderated by Mrs. Otilia DANDARA, Vice Rector of the MSU, trainer of MHELM module I, with the guests Mrs. Nadejda VELIȘCO, general secretary of MER, Mr. Grigore BELOSTECINIC, academician of the ASM, former rector of ASEM and Mrs. Valentina PRIȚCAN, Vice Rector of USARB. Read more
