THE THIRD GROUP OF UNIVERSITY MANAGERS FROM MSU AND ASEM COMPLETED THE TRAINING PROGRAMME, ORGANISED WITHIN THE ERASMUS+ PROJECT, MHELM
The training of the third group of university managers in the “Leadership and Management” training programme has reached its final stage.
On February 13, took place the evaluation of the final projects presented by 2 teams from Moldova State University (MSU) and 3 teams from ASEM.
Alina SLOBODANIUC and the Head of the Human Resources Department, Aliona LISMAN, presented the project “Initiation of distance learning study programmes in the first cycle Bachelor and second cycle Master”. The aim of the project is to implement distance learning study programmes through the use of ICT in accordance with the requirements of the beneficiaries and the needs of the labour market, by making the Higher Education process more flexible and more efficient, so that it can easily respond to crisis situations (pandemics, war, migration, optimisation of expenses, inclusion of people with difficulties, etc.).
The second MSU team – Prof. Dr. Natalia ZAMFIR, prof. Dr. Natalia PUTINA, Deputy Head of Accounting Ludmila ȘENDREA presented the project proposal “Engaging universities in the process of “green” transition and cultivating values for sustainable development”. The project aims to develop an optimal model for the implementation of the “green” transition process and sustainable development at the level of the State University of Moldova, with an impact on the national education system. The main objective of the project is to initiate a comprehensive process of engaging the MSU in the green transition and sustainable development through three basic actions: Adoption of the Green Strategy of MSU and implementation of the program “MSU GOES GREEN”, as an initiative of the university management to align with the SDGs and best practices existing in EU and Western countries; creation of the Green-Hub, the first of its kind in Moldova, Green Office/Hub (GO) as a platform for institutionalization of sustainability and green transition in university higher education; creation of a Green network at MSU together with other universities, PCAs, LPAs, civil society organizations, economic agents, environmental activists, etc.
The evaluators were the trainers responsible for the modules included in the “Leadership and Management” programme, prof. univ., Dr. Sc. Larisa BUGAIAN, project coordinator, Technical University of Moldova; prof. univ., dr. hab. Ala COTELNIC, institutional coordinator, Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and Prof. Dr. Angela NICULIȚĂ, institutional coordinator, State University of Moldova.
The project proposals of the MSU teams were assessed by the Evaluation Commission as relevant, with impact both at institutional level and at the level of the higher education system in the Republic of Moldova. More information about the MHELM project can be found on the official website
