LAUNCH OF THE LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT LABORATORY AT TUM
The inauguration of the Leadership and Management laboratory, endowed within the project “MOLDOVA HIGHER EDUCATION LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT (MHELM)”, reference number: 609656-EPP-1-2019-1-MD-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP, funded by the EU, took place on January 18, 2022, during a seminar on the presentation of the TUM Information System, which is a case study within Module III “Resource Management” of the “Leadership and Management” training programme.
The seminar was held for the trainees of the first group of institutional managers, which includes 52 people, representatives of the partner universities of the project, as follows: TUM – 9, AESM – 8, SUMPh – 7, SAUM – 7, SUM – 7, SUCahul – 7, SUARB -7. The training was launched in October 2021, takes place over four months and is part of the activities of Work Package 2.3 of the MHELM project.
In the opening speech of the seminar, Mrs. Larisa Bugaian, project coordinator, spoke about the fact that the seminar takes place in room 205 of TUM, which was renovated from TUM sources and endowed with high-performance equipment from the MHELM project sources for the training under the “Leadership and Management” programme. Mrs. Bugaian mentioned that such laboratories were opened in each of the partner universities of the project, as part of the work package 2.1. She emphasized that the laboratory, where the seminar takes place, was designed to allow group training as well as individual and team training activities of trainees within the continuous training programme of institutional managers.
Around 60 people, representatives of the 7 partner universities in the project, atended the seminar both physically and online. The vice-rectors Ala Cotelnic, AESM, Daniela Pojar, Dinu Țurcanu and Vladislav Resita, TUM, as well as Mr. Igor Cemortan, head of the SUMPh Department, were present in the hall.
The presentation was provided by the employees of the Information and Communications Technology Department of TUM, and the information system was described by Vasile Chetroi, Head of Department, and Vasile Derevlenco, software designer of the Design and Development of Information Systems and Software Products Service of DTIC.
